Computer keyboards enable you to enter data into a computer. Computer keyboards are similar to electric-typewriter keyboards but contain additional keys.

The new Microsoft Internet Keyboard is equipped with ten hot keys that support Internet and e-mail functions. It has a sleep key and two user-programmable hot keys, labeled "calculator" and "My Computer."

Internet users can launch their browsers and surf the Web directly from their keyboards. Or, they can open their e-mail program and check messages with the push of a button. Users can also customize the hot keys to launch their favorite programs, documents, or Web site.
