A device that controls the movement of the cursor or pointer on a monitor. A mouse is a small object you can roll along a hard, flat surface. As you move the mouse, the pointer on the display screen moves in the same direction. A PS/2 mouse connects to the PS/2 mouse port on the rear of the computer. Newer mice also include a scroll wheel (intelli-point) for scrolling through long documents.
